Il est parfois \u00e0 l\u2019origine du surpoids et de l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 car il d\u00e9clenche une faim \u00e9motionnelle et une recherche incontr\u00f4l\u00e9e d\u2019aliments sucr\u00e9s et r\u00e9confortants. Il alt\u00e8re la concentration et la m\u00e9moire et est souvent \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019accidents de la route et d\u2019accidents du travail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il existe diff\u00e9rentes causes d\u2019insomnie : mauvaises habitudes de vie, difficult\u00e9s digestives, apn\u00e9e obstructive du sommeil, maladies syst\u00e9miques, anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, stress, d\u00e9pression.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les moments les plus \u00e0 risque dans la vie sont certainement la m\u00e9nopause et la vieillesse et au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e les changements de saisons et le passage \u00e0 l\u2019heure d\u2019hiver, ou vice versa \u00e0 l\u2019heure d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9<strong>.<\/strong> L\u2019insomnie peut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement se manifester en trois types : l\u2019insomnie initiale, avec difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019endormir ; insomnie intermittente, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par des r\u00e9veils fr\u00e9quents\u00a0; insomnie terminale, avec r\u00e9veil pr\u00e9coce et incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 se rendormir.<\/p>\n<h3>Insomnie et d\u00e9pression<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Si vous vous r\u00e9veillez tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t le matin, le trouble du sommeil peut \u00eatre un sympt\u00f4me li\u00e9 aux troubles de l\u2019humeur.<\/strong> Ceux-ci, d\u2019un point de vue physiologique, semblent \u00eatre li\u00e9s avant tout au dysfonctionnement des neurones qui utilisent les neurotransmetteurs s\u00e9rotonine et noradr\u00e9naline. Le syst\u00e8me neuroendocrinien est \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9 et en particulier l\u2019axe hypothalamo-hypophyso-surr\u00e9nalien, qui contr\u00f4le la lib\u00e9ration de l\u2019hormone cortisol, l\u2019un des responsables du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de d\u00e9pression et de stress chez l\u2019homme<strong>.<\/strong> Les m\u00e9dicaments les plus couramment utilis\u00e9s pour lutter contre l\u2019insomnie sont les benzodiaz\u00e9pines, qui sont certainement utiles dans certaines circonstances cliniques, mais leur administration n\u00e9cessite une grande prudence, car \u00e0 long terme, ils peuvent provoquer une d\u00e9pendance et des effets secondaires majeurs. Une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e en janvier 2023 dans le <em>Journal of Alzheimer\u2019s Disease a fait \u00e9tat d\u2019un<\/em> risque accru de d\u00e9clin cognitif et de d\u00e9mence li\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation continue de benzodiaz\u00e9pines. (on parle d\u2019environ deux fois plus que ceux qui ne les prennent pas).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alors, comment pouvons-nous intervenir avant que les troubles du sommeil ne se poursuivent au fil du temps, ne deviennent chroniques et ne deviennent m\u00e9dicalement pertinents ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tout d\u2019abord, il est n\u00e9cessaire de favoriser la relaxation et l\u2019\u00e9quilibre psychophysique pendant la journ\u00e9e. L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re, le yoga, la pleine conscience, la th\u00e9rapie cognitivo-comportementale viennent \u00e0 notre aide. L\u2019alimentation et la suppl\u00e9mentation en nutriments fonctionnels, vitamines, min\u00e9raux sont un grand alli\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Insomnie, nutrition et suppl\u00e9mentation<\/h3>\n<p>Certains aliments semblent favoriser la synth\u00e8se de la s\u00e9rotonine, de l\u2019adr\u00e9naline, de la m\u00e9latonine, les hormones qui r\u00e9gulent l\u2019humeur, conduisant par cons\u00e9quent \u00e9galement \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration du repos. Les aliments riches en tryptophane, impliqu\u00e9s dans la synth\u00e8se de la m\u00e9latonine, tels que les produits laitiers, les fromages, les \u0153ufs, les viandes blanches, les poissons qui contiennent des vitamines B3 et B6, gr\u00e2ce auxquelles le tryptophane se transforme en s\u00e9rotonine, sont \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier.
